Codeine haul
Feb. 5: Railway Protection Force personnel today found 4,900 bottles of unclaimed Mankodex and Phensedyl cough syrups from platform no. 1 and 2 of Guwahati railway station. Altogether 29 cartons were found on platform no. 1 and another 10 cartons from platform no. 2.
Body found
An unidentified body was found near the parking yard of Kamakhya temple atop Nilachal hills on Tuesday morning. Police said a probe was on to identify the body.
Training
An eight-day model training course on “Fisheries Enhancement in Floodplain Wetlands for Increasing Fish Yield on Sustainable Basis”, organised by the regional centre of Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, concluded on Tuesday.
