Court order
Guwahati, Feb. 4: Gauhati High Court today asked the home department of Assam to furnish a report detailing the action taken in connection with the alleged rape of a deaf and mute woman by CRPF personnel in Lakhimpur on January 3 this year.
he court also expressed concern over reports of delay in police investigation into the rape. Four CRPF personnel have been accused of raping the woman at Adarsha Gaon under Bogeenadi police station in North Lakhimpur district.
