Guwahati, Feb. 3: Ramesh Kumar of India won the gold in the individual event of the International Endurance Meet, while Zuber Master of South Africa tallied the silver and Miller Collmann Natalie of Switzerland took the bronze.
Kumar clocked 2:29.39 hours, Master timed 2:31.05 hours and Natalie finished in 2:56.56 hours.
The eight-nation event was held on the banks of the Brahmaputra at Dibrugarh and the 60-km ride was held in three loops of 20km each.
Participants from the UK, South Africa, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, Thailand, Canada and India participated in the meet.
In the team event, Miller Collmann Natalie (Switzerland), Zuber Master (South Africa) and Amber Sole (UK) bagged the gold, clocking 5:28.01 hours by two after Sole was eliminated in the third phase. The Indian team of Ramesh Kumar, Ashutosh Thakur and Rajesh Kumar took the silver while Amit Yadav of India and Meechokchai Jettakorn of Thailand annexed the bronze.
