Ranchi, Feb. 2: A city-based pathological laboratory has been granted the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories certificate today. Dr. J. Sharan’s Pathological Laboratory in Bariatu is the first in Ranchi to achieve the milestone.
Proprietor Rakesh Sharan said the certification was a big achievement for the laboratory that completed its golden jubilee this year.
The national board had sent delegates to carry out inspections before the final recommendation was processed. The new feather sets stringent standards for quality. Apart from genuine results, hygiene is also a matter of concern.
