Scan on Jatin-Lalit kin case

Mumbai, Feb. 1: Police are reviewing investigations into the disappearance of Sandhya Singh, sister of Bollywood composer Jatin and Lalit, after skeletal remains were found at a marshy spot near her Navi Mumbai residence.

Family members and neighbours have told the police that Sandhya, missing since December 13, had a strained relationship with her son Raghuveer, 22. She had filed a complaint against him after a fight.

“I do not deny that case, but it was not the way it is seen right now,” Raghuveer said.

Family members said they suspect the hand of a domestic help who had been caught red-handed stealing jewellery from Sandhya.

Sandhya’s younger sister Vijeta Singh said she had seen the remains. “The clothes, the rudraksh, the footwear and the peculiar colour of the hair extensions found on the spot, show that it is my sister. ”
