Five postgraduate courses could be introduced at Shri Krishna Medical College and Hospital in March this year, provided it gets the final approval from the Medical Council of India.
A four-member MCI inspection team visited the health hub on Thursday to explore possibilities of introducing postgraduate courses this year. The team inspected five departments medicine, pharmacology, anatomy, physiology and prevention and social medicine for possibilities of starting postgraduate courses. It assessed the infrastructure and strength of teachers and interacted with the authorities, SKMCH principal Dr D.K. Sinha said.
He added that the team would furnish a detailed report on the inspection of the five departments within a week for further action.
