New Delhi, Jan. 27 (PTI): Income-tax officers probing Nitin Gadkari’s Purti group finances have demanded an unconditional apology from the former BJP president for threatening them. On January 24, Gadkari had warned income-tax officers saying “nobody would save them when the BJP comes to power”.
“The statement issued by Shri Gadkari is derogatory for the service and his threat is aimed to hinder free and fair investigations,” a resolution passed by an IRS body said.
