Two youths were arrested at the Ruby crossing on Saturday evening for allegedly harassing two women and a male friend who had gone there to buy food. The accused — local youths Arun Das and Guddu Patua — were picked up after the girls complained to cops patrolling the area.
The trio, all SRFTI students, went to the Bypass crossing in a taxi from their hostels on the campus. They were waiting in the taxi after ordering food at an eatery when Arun and Guddu allegedly passed “lewd comments” at them.
