The second edition of Gnosis 13, the national business festival of Chandragupt Institute of Management-Patna (CIMP), was held on Sunday with an aim to bring together future managers from premier management schools across the country on a single platform.
The one-day event witnessed several students of leading B-schools testing their managerial and marketing skills through a wide spectrum of competitions like business plan, case analysis, business quiz, advertisement preparation and debate.
Speaking on the occasion, CIMP director V. Mukunda Das said: “Such events help the students prepare for future competitions when they step into the professional field. Besides, Gnosis 13 is an occasion to assimilate and learn from other students while testing one’s own skills.”
Saim Ahmad, a participant from Faculty of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University (FMS-BHU), said: “What we learn in classroom is the theoretical portion. But the real test comes a student enters the field. One such event is Namozi — the ‘B plan contest’ of the programme that gives an opportunity to the students to be original and innovative.”
Students from FMS-BHU, Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi, Kalinga Institute of Technology, Xavier Institute of Management, Bhuba-neswar, Indian Institute of Technology, Patna, National Institute of Technology. Patna, Chanakya National Law University, Birla Institute of Technology, Patna and other took part in the event.
