Minor lured & raped
Motihari, Jan. 22 (PTI): A three-year-old girl was allegedly raped here by a neighbour on Monday, a police officer said on Tuesday.
eputy superintendent of police Alok Kumar said the child was allegedly raped by the man at his house after luring her. On hearing the girl’s cries, her mother rushed to the neighbour’s house and found her bleeding, he added. The child was rushed for medical examination. Kumar said an FIR was lodged against the accused, who is absconding.
Rail demands
Patna: Bihar Chamber of Commerce and Industries has demanded early completion of several railway projects in Bihar, including railway factory in Harnaur and rail wheel factory in Chhapra, in a pre-budget memorandum sent to the railways minister.
Congress poll
Patna: Votes polled for the election of Bihar Youth Congress president would be counted on Wednesday from 10am at the party’s state headquarters, Sadaquat Ashram. The result is expected by afternoon.

Nawada (PTI): A court on Tuesday sentenced Maoists Ashok Yadav and Balak Yadav to six and four years of imprisonment respectively after finding them guilty of firing on cops in Dumarkaul forest 10 years ago.
