Calcutta: Manoj Tiwary underwent a fitness test at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore, on Monday. It is understood that the India batsman has been declared fit.
Manoj was sidelined after suffering a back injury, during the Ranji Trophy match against Saurashtra, in Rajkot, last month. He thus missed the two Twenty20s against England, the Twenty20 and one-day series against Pakistan and the first three one-day Internationals against England.
His attaining fitness means that Manoj will be available for selection when the squad for the last two ODIs, against England, is picked. The last two ODIs are in Dharamsala and Mohali.
