Sachin is in Ranji mode

New Delhi: The Mumbai Ranji Trophy squad, including Sachin Tendulkar, arrived in the capital on Monday evening to play the Ranji trophy semi-final against Services, beginning on Wednesday, at the Palam ground.

As a smiling Tendulkar came out of the airport through the VIP gate along with Mumbai captain Ajit Agarkar, he was warmly received by the Services team officials.

Tendulkar and Agarkar left together in a car for the team hotel.

The Mumbai team is scheduled to have their practice session on Tuesday morning.

While Mumbai are experienced campaigners in Ranji Trophy, Services are enjoying a dream run in the current season. In the quarter final, they got the better of former champions Uttar Pradesh.

In the Mumbai squad, wicketkeeper batsman Sushant Marathe has replaced batsman Shoaib Sheikh for the match.

Mumbai made the semi-final by getting the better of Baroda on the basis of a first innings lead.
