Tiddim beat United

Imphal, Jan. 9: Tiddim Road Athletics Union defeated United Sporting Association by 3-2 goals in the knockout round of Sir Churchand memorial football tournament at Mapal Kangjeibung today.

Th. Premkumar of Tiddim scored the first goal in the 3rd minute.

Three minutes later teammate L. Tiken increased the score to two, converting a pass from S. Piba.

L. Sanatomba scored the first goal for United in the 25th minute.

United equalised the score with the second goal in 55th minute by F. Lalzerzo.

Tiddim’s N. Momocha scored the winning goal in the 61st minute.

Tiddim Road are six-time champions and seven-time runners-up of Churchand football tournament.
