Bagan thrash Rangers Club
Mohun Bagan waltzed past Rangers Club by eight wickets in the CAB Senior Knockout Tournament, on Tuesday. Batting first, Rangers were restricted to 196/6 in 45 overs. Srimoy Ghosal top-scored with an unbeaten 58 before Debabrata Das hammered a 57-ball 110 to take Bagan home in just 21.2 overs.
Sanjib Sanyal also contributed with 69.

Tolgay injury
Tolgay Ozebe has sustained another injury, although a minor one, in his left-ankle during Mohun Bagan’s training session in Durgapur, on Tuesday. He, however, is expected to get back to practice within a day or two.

Top seeds have it easy in the second round of the AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament being held at the BTA complex.
In boys’ under-18 singles, top seed Rahul Robinson got past Yubraj Bains 9-5, while second seed Richie Agarwal beat Ishaque Eqbal 9-4, on Tuesday.
In girls’ under-18 singles, top-seed Avanthika Sai thumped Monika Kumar 9-1, while second seed Bhavani Balakumar defeated Rutvi Shah 9-5.
