Jan. 6: Annapurna group today launched two products — homo-genised pasteurised toned milk in tetra packs and powdered milk. The company says in the coming two years, it will add paneer, cream, curd and ice-cream, among others, to its list of products.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd has announced a partnership with George Telegraph Training Institute, Guwahati, for a two-year full-time professional training programme that will involve trained staff from the Mahindra Institute of Learning Excellence. The students will be trained about the latest automotive technologies.
UCO Bank
UCO Bank will soon open six new branches and 20 new ATM points in different areas in the Jorhat zone, which covers 14 districts of Assam and two districts of Nagaland and one district of Arunachal Pradesh. The zone’s manager, R.N Sahay, told reporters in Jorhat on Sunday that the bank had decided to expand its base in the Northeast.
