MSCA champions NSI post 352 Youth football Tennis meet

Mainland Sambaran Cricket Academy emerged champions in the Manthan Cup Under-17 meet on Saturday. In the final, they beat Bulan CA by three wickets. MSCA’s Akash Ghatak was the Man of the Match.

Brief scores: Bulan CA 146/8 (Anmol Bonny 72; Satyen Murmu 3/28). MSCA 150/7 (Akash Ghatak 49). MSCA won by 3 wickets.

Anup Samaddar’s 117 helped Netaji Subhas Institute posted 352 against Dalhousie Athletic Club in the First Division League on Saturday.

In another match, Bhowanipore were bowled out for 86 against Mohun Bagan. S. Sil took six wickets while A. Singh claimed three.

Jounpur High School defeated Kola Union High School 3-0 in the quarter finals of the Mahindra Youth Football Challenge on Saturday. Digri Sanatorium High School beat Sagarbath BS Vidya Bhavan 1-0, Ashoknagar HS beat Chandmari Desopriya Siksayatan 3-0 and Chowbaga High School defeated Santipur Hindu High School 3-1.

The Sunfeast Dream Cream AITA Super Series Junior tennis tournament will be held at the South Club from January 14 to 19. The events include boys and girls singles U-14, boys and girls doubles U-14, boys and girls singles U-16, and boys and girls doubles U-16.

The tournament is being organised by the All India Tennis Association and the Bengal Tennis Association.
