Bihar AT A GLANCE

Patna: Friends of Bihar, an NGO, organised a signature campaign on Thursday, to raise voice against atrocities against women. The campaign was organised to save women from domestic violence and other such crimes.

The national president of the organisation, Bihari Bhaiya, and the director of distance education in Patna University, Ranvijay Singh, were present during the campaign at Income Tax roundabout.

The NGO demanded a separate bus service for women and deployment of police in plain clothes near educational institutions. They also demanded that cases related to women should be heard in fast track-courts by women judges.
