Science congress
President Pranab Mukherjee to inaugurate 100th Indian Science Congress at Salt Lake stadium, noon. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will preside over the ceremony. Chief minister Mamata Banerjee and Union ministers S. Jaipal Reddy and Kapil Sibal will attend the programme.
