FIR heat on Dabangg 2

Chief judicial magistrate S.P. Singh on Wednesday asked Sadar police station to lodge an FIR under sections 292, 293 and 294 of IPC against the team of recently released Salman Khan-starrer Dabangg 2.

Salman, co-actors Kareena Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, director Arbaaz Khan and music director duo Sajid-Wajid would be named in the FIR for the hit song “Fevicol se…” Anil Jha, a lawyer and social activist, complained to the CJM that the lyrics of the song were offensive and insulted women.

The police will submit a report on the action they take to the court within a week.
