Keeping to the theme, there were faux pencil shavings strewn on the bonfire platforms, there was a science lab and “butt seats” made popular by 3 Idiots on which everyone wanted a picture. Exclamations of “Oh my God, is that really you” and “Do you remember” could be heard as friends caught up after years. DJ Akash added to the mood of nostalgia spinning out tracks like Dancing Queen, Brown Girl in The Ring and Stayin’ Alive.
“The most wonderful thing about La Martiniere is the Martinian spirit. We take every opportunity to reunite and re-establish the bonds of love and commitment,” said Lorraine Mirza, principal, La Martiniere for Girls.
