Playground
Ulubari High Secondary School has taken up a project to develop its playground in the coming year. Former students of the school have joined the initiative.
Annual Day
The 7th Annual Day function of Angel’s Home, a premier play school, was celebrated last week. The highlight of the function was a cultural show presented by the kids between two and five years of age.

Conference
The department of statistics, Gauhati University, on Monday organised a three-day long international conference on recent advances in mathematical statistics and its applications in applied sciences on the university campus. A large number of teachers, research scholars and students participated in the conference on the first day.
Teachers’ meet
A meeting between Assam College Teachers’ Association and Gauhati University Teachers’ Association was held on the university campus last week to discuss various issues concerning the syllabus and the academic calendar.
