Calcutta: Trainer Vijay Singh’s prized runner, Dandified, may be hard to beat in the 1,400m Army Cup, the main attraction in the Boxing Day’s, Wednesday’s, eight-event card. The Rebuttal-Dandoona colt had gone down fighting to Ocean And Beyond, undoubtably a better Class horse from western India. Now that Dandified is up against an opposition he has beaten often, and at will, in the past, it is looks like a contest, virtually for the minor placings for which River Blitz is a strong contender. Jockey Christopher Alford partners Dandified.
The afternoon’s added attraction, the 1,100m Gen A.S. Vaidya Memorial Cup may witness, trainer Javed Khan’s Royal Dance. The horse who was fancied to win in his last outing but unseated the rider 250m from home.Read as: Sl. nos, last 4 runs, horse name, trainer, jockey, weight & draw:
