Online saleof tickets

The CAB has decided to go online for the sell of tickets, for the upcoming India-Pakistan ODI, at the Eden, on January 3.

Around 3,000 tickets, of three denominations — Rs 500, 1,000 and 1,500, will be sold online at www.kyazoonga.com.

Meanwhile, the CAB is likely to invite Sachin Tendulkar for the match.

Cricket meet

Naktala CC beat ADV CA by 39 runs in the Manthan Cup cricket tournament, on Monday. Sourav Gayen of the winners claimed four wickets.

Naktala CC 221/6 in 40 ovs (Avigyan Rakshit 61, Abhishek Singh 64). ADV CA 182 in 28.4 (Sonu Kumar 32, Sourav Gayen 4/32). Naktala won by 39 runs

Day of upsets

Unseeded Mudit Bhagat toppled second seed Mohammed Fardeen in the boys’ under-12 category of the ongoing Bengal sub-junior state tennis championship, at Bengal Tennis Association complex, on Monday.Fifth-seeded Aryaan Sen and third seed Jayaditya Goho also lost.
