Rajdhani late
The Sealdah and Howrah-bound Rajdhani trains were running late by 14 and 13 hours, respectively, on Sunday because of fog. The Howrah-bound train was supposed to arrive at 10am and the one for Sealdah at 10.15am on Monday. Ten other long-distance trains were delayed by three hours on an average because of fog.
Bypass traffic
The Bypass traffic was disrupted on Sunday evening because of a blockade by Trinamul supporters near Trinamul Bhavan in Tiljala following a clash between two factions. The protesters attacked vehicles and set on fire two motorcycles.
Rape cry
A woman has alleged that a 30-year-old auto driver raped her at her home in Thakurpukur on Saturday evening. Accused Bapai Sarkar has been arrested. |
