President, Mamata invited for Pak tie

CAB president Jagmohan Dalmiya invited chief minister Mamata Banerjee, on Friday, for the second ODI between India and Pakistan to be played at Eden Gardens on January 3.

“We have invited President Pranab Mukherjee for the match. In all likelihood, he will be here, along with other dignitaries. We also want the chief minister to be present,” CAB joint-secretary Subir Ganguly said. He also informed that six former Pakistan captains, including Asif Iqbal and Javed Miandad, will be at the Eden.
