Scarlatti is out to win

Calcutta: Trainer Bharath Singh’s three-year-old horse, Scarlatti (Shailesh Shinde-up), is fancied to lift the 1,600m Orange William Cup, Tuesday’s main attraction in the long drawn nine-event card. Scarlatti’ last run, which was over a scurry, is best ignored. The Warrshan son has matched strides with some of the best youngsters in western India. The horse is better suited to middle distances.SELECTIONS
