Punjab in trouble versus MP

Gwalior: Madhya Pradesh looked on course for an outright victory against Punjab after a brilliant show by their pacers.

MP, in fact, enforced follow-on on table toppers Punjab in their Group A Ranji Trophy match, here, on Sunday.

After being bowled out for 148 in their first innings, the visitors were 11 without loss at the close of play on the second day. Ahead of a gruelling third day's play, Punjab trailed Madhya Pradesh by 164 runs with all their wickets intact.

Earlier, resuming at 281 for five, Madhya Pradesh skipper Devendra Bundela struck his 22nd first-class century as the hosts' first innings folded at 323. Yuvraj Singh top scored for Punjab with 39.
