Estate lockout
Dibrugarh, Dec. 15: The management of Dilli tea estate here declared a lockout today after a group of labourers allegedly assaulted an executive.
Remanded
Tezpur: The Tezpur CJM’s court on Saturday remanded Pratu Bhagwati, Trailukya Mohan Kalita and Rituparna Bora in 14 days’ judicial custody. They were arrested in connection with a suicide.
Thief flees
Dhubri: Mohemedul Sheikh, 24, who was arrested in connection to a car theft case on Friday, fled the lock-up at night.
