Karachi: Keen on having a Test series against India in August next year, the PCB has expressed its inability to accommodate a request from the WICB to reschedule the Pakistan’s tour to the Caribbean.
A well-placed source said that Pakistan, according to the FTP calendar, is scheduled to tour West Indies in July.
“The WICB, without informing the PCB, has invited India and Sri Lanka for a limited overs series in July and wants the Pakistan to tour in August. Since the PCB is pretty hopeful of a series against India in August, it is unable to accept the change in dates,” the source said. (PTI)
