Ever wondered what connects Deepika Padukone, Indrani Dasgupta, Yami Gautam and Kritika Kamra? They have all been the golden girls of P.C. Chandra Jewellers. And if you have the drive to be on this coveted list, there’s no time like now.

P.C. Chandra Goldlites Diva, in association with t2, is in search of a new face who can complement of course, with panache P.C. Chandra’s range of jewellery.

The first round of the contest will take place in various registered city colleges where anyone in the 18-25 age group can register. The contest will have an intra-college round in which each college will have two runners-up and a winner, all of whom will win a privilege coupon (to be redeemed against jewellery) worth Rs 1,000, 2,000 and 5,000 respectively.

The winner from each college will fight it out in the grand finale at the inter-college round. And the winner will walk away with a privilege coupon worth Rs 1,00,000 and be the face of the P.C. Chandra ad campaign for a while. The runners-up will not be disappointed, bagging privilege coupons worth Rs 50,000 and 25,000.

Besides registering at the college, you can do the same through Facebook (apps.facebook.com/goldlitesdiva/) and get a wild-card entry to the grand finale.

“The contest is a platform to promote new talent and to introduce college students to the concept of gold jewellery. Even at the intra-college level of the contest, a few participants will get an opportunity to wear our collection,” said Anil Jain, vice-president (marketing), P.C. Chandra Jewellers.

The first intra-college round is on December 15 at Sarojini Naidu College For Women, followed by Rabindra Bharati University on December 17, St. Paul’s Cathedral Mission College on December 18, Gokhale Memorial Girls’ College and Bethune College on December 19 and Rani Birla College on December 20.

Chaiti Ghoshal, Alokananda Roy, June and Nondon Bagchi are some of the celebrity judges.
