Top seeds in final

Aita tennis

Guwahati, Dec. 13: Top seed Sidharth Choudhury of Assam will lock horns with second seed Vitsizolie Nagi of Nagaland in the boys’ singles final of the 1st AITA Talent Series (under-16) tennis tournament at the Nagaland Tennis Association Complex at Kuda village in Dimapur tomorrow.

Sidharth had a convincing 6-3, 6-3 straight set win over fifth seed Zhaputso Khate of Nagaland while Vitsizolie defeated fourth seed Mayank Arya of Delhi 6-2, 6-0.

Both Sidharth and Vitsizolie will vie for their second crowns in the doubles final.

In the first semi-final played today, the duo of Sidharth and Chengish Razdan Ahmed won 4-0, 4-2 while Vitsizolie and Zhaputso Khate won 5-3, 4-0. The finals will be played tomorrow.
