Teacher shot dead
Patna: A senior teacher of Madhubani-based RK College, Laxman Singh, was shot dead and valuables worth about Rs 10 lakh were taken away by a gang of armed criminals from his house at Rajnagar in Madhubani district late on Tuesday night.

B>n Ara: Rohtas police on Tuesday arrested Vijay Verma and his three aides from Dinara village in the Bikramgunj sub-divisional area while he was plotting a crime. He was wanted in several criminal cases in Buxar, Rohtas and Aurangabad districts and also in Uttar Pradesh, said a police officer.
