Shops gutted
Imphal, Dec. 11: Thirteen shops were gutted in a fire this morning at Lilong Bazar in Thoubal district. Properties worth Rs 50 lakh were destroyed.

Sivasagar: Activists of Tai Ahom Yuba Parishad on Tuesday staged a shirtless protest in front of the Charaideo sub-divisional officer (civil) against the recent announcement by the Centre of the Ahom community not being included in the list of Scheduled Tribe.
