One-stop show about schools

Dec. 6: Parents and students can now collect information on the leading schools of the country under one roof right here in the city.

The two-day Premier Schools Exhibition, which promises to have an impressive line-up of schools, will be held at Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phookan indoor stadium from December 8.

It will be organised by Affairs Exhibitions and Media Private Ltd, which has been organising school exhibitions across the country since 2004 in association with University of Cambridge International Examination, UK.

According to the organisers, parents will not only get a chance to know about the best schools in the country but also to meet the representatives of these schools in person.

“Gaining reliable information, getting their questions answered instantly and a chance for spot admissions in the school of their choice are a few of the benefits this exhibition offers,” a statement said.

“It will be a perfect opportunity for the parents to make a well informed decision about their child’s future,” it said.

They said some of the best schools from all over the country would be participating in the exhibition.

The schools shall offer information on their performance, infrastructure, fees, and other facilities and also offer guidance and spot admissions to deserving candidates.

The exhibition will also clear the parents’ doubts regarding boarding schools.

The visitors to the exhibition will get a free copy of Premier Schools Guide — an exclusive guide to the leading schools of the country — along with important tips for parents on choosing an ideal school.

According to them, the objective of holding the exhibitions is to bring progressive schools and parents together.

The organisers said after Gurgaon and Noida, the Premier Schools Exhibition has come to the Northeast.

Apart from Guwahati, the exhibition will be held in Aizawl on December 11 and 12. It concluded in Shillong today.
