After teaming up with Dev (Challenge 2) and Mithun Chakraborty’s son Mimoh (in Rocky, under-production), Puja has a new man in her (screen) life — Soham.

In Raja Chanda’s fifth film Loveriya, produced by Shree Venkatesh Films and Surinder Films, Puja and Soham hate each other in the beginning only to fall head over heels in love. “I think I’m lucky that I’m getting the opportunity to team up with different co-stars in each film. I started my career with Hiraan (Macho Mustanna) and then Dev, Mimoh and now Soham. As an actress I get to learn new things from them and I hope I get the opportunity to work with a new hero in each of my films! Oh wait... I would run short of heroes then! (Laughs) Well, I would also like to work with actors I’ve already worked with,” giggled Puja in between a photoshoot for Loveriya.

Puja plays Sweety, a rich, spoilt, arrogant brat in Loveriya. “I have never played a character like Sweety before, she is so, so arrogant. I am just the opposite of Sweety,” she chirped.

After the action flick Challenge 2, Raja wanted to do a rom-com and so Loveriya. “You see, the audience can guess from the title itself that Loveriya is a love story with fun elements. It’s a film for youngsters and this is the first time Puja and Soham have been paired opposite each other. I think it’s quite an off-beat casting,” said Raja.

Loveriya which rolls on the floors today also stars Rajatabha Dutta, Dipankar De, Supriyo Dutta, Nandini Chatterjee and others.
