Pacers can do well in India: Finn

Calcutta: Graeme Swann and Monty Panesar have done exceptionally well for England in the ongoing Test series against India. But the same cannot be said about the visitors’ fast bowlers.

But Steven Finn feels that pacers can play an important role even in the subcontinental conditions. “I feel the utility of pacers are under-rated in this part of the world...Pacers can do well in India...

“I believe the Indian pacers had bowled quite well during the first Test. As for myself, I always enjoy bowling in the subcontinent,” Finn said, on Monday.

“Conditions here pose a different challenge to fast bowlers… It’s really exciting when you have to deliver in challenging conditions… The one-dayers in India, last year, have certainly provided me with more experience,” Finn added.
