Man robs fiancee
Man drugged his fiancee and her brother and robbed their house in Picnic Garden on Sunday evening.
olice said the family of Chandrani Ghosh, 35, a schoolteacher, had fixed her marriage with Samir Roy through a newspaper matrimonial advertisement.
amir, who claimed to be a Bagbazar resident, went to Chandrani’s house on Monday and offered to make them tea. Chandrani and his brother fell unconscious soon after. When they regained consciousness, Samir was gone and so were their cell phones, some gold bangles and silver showpieces. They have lodged a police complaint.
