Shillong, East Khasi Hills in final

Shillong, Nov. 30: Shillong Cricket Association will meet East Khasi Hills District Cricket Association in the final of the under-25 inter-district cricket tournament, organised by Meghalaya Cricket Association, at Polo ground here tomorrow.

Shillong today defeated Garo Hills Cricket Association by nine wickets to book the final berth while East Khasi Hills beat Ri-Bhoi Cricket Association by 10 wickets in the first semifinal yesterday. Put in to bat, Garo Hills were all out for 146 runs in 34.5 overs with Silanki Sangma topscoring with 42.

Swarajit Das of Shillong claimed six wickets, conceding 23 runs. In reply, Shillong reached the target of 147, losing one wicket, with Raj Biswa scoring 79 runs off 61 balls and Shellningstar Thabah 50 off 46 balls.
