Rahman killing
Tezpur, Nov. 28: Sonitpur police today arrested Dipak Rabha, 37, from Diplonga Kalbasti under Itakhola police station. He was allegedly involved in the killing of tea planter Adilur Rahman on November 13. Police sources said his interrogation was on.
Kidnap arrest
Kokrajhar: Baksa police on Wednesday arrested Mahesh Kisan, 25 and Mangal Kisan, 50, from Madhupur in Baksa district in connection with the kidnapping of 5-year-old Mahi Goel on Friday. The duo are being interrogated.
Leopard
B>n Jorhat: A female leopard was caged by the forest department at Letekujan tea estate in Jorhat on Wednesday. A few days ago, a worker of the estate had been attacked and injured by the leopard.
