Nov. 28: Mamata Banerjee has green-signalled a plan to launch a helicopter service between Bagdogra and Lebong in Darjeeling for tourists. The project could involve private players. Pawan Hans sources said the journey would take 30 minutes and cost between Rs 1,800 and Rs 2,000.

Midnapore: Four persons, including the parents of a 14-year-old girl, have been arrested in Midnapore for allegedly pouring milk on her head for four hours after her father said she would turn into a snake. The girl fell unconscious.
