Guwahati, Nov 27: Gauhati Medical College and Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE) today registered wins in their respective matches of the 5th All Assam Lauhapurush Premoda Kanta Sarma inter-college cricket tournament at Latasil ground here.
While GMC clinched a one-run victory against K.C. Das Commerce College, LNIPE eased past Gauhati College of Architecture (GCA) by seven wickets.
In the morning match, GMC elected to bat and were all out for 118 in 20 overs. K.C. Das Commerce boys were bowled out for 117 in 19.2 overs.
In the other match of the day, put in to bat, GCA were all out for 80 in 17.1 overs.
In reply, LNIPE reached 81 for three in 12.4 overs.
Pragjyotish College will clash with Gauhati Commerce College in tomorrow’s match.
