Power cut notice
Patna: Areas like Kurji mor, ITI Digha, Sadakat Ashram, Polytechnic mor, Mainpura, LCT ghat, Rajapur, Mainpura, Ganga Tower, Gosai Tola, Dujra, Budha Colony, Nehru Nagar, Indira Nagar and Sidheshwar Nagar would not receive power for four hours from 11am on Tuesday.
he power supply would be affected because of a shutdown for carrying out maintenance work of 33/11KV Digha and Patliputra feeder and 11KV ITI feeder.
Shot at
Patna: A retired engineer was allegedly shot at by his cousin at his PC Colony home under Kankerbagh police station late on Monday evening. The victim, B.N. Rai, has been admitted to a private nursing home. His condition is said to be critical.
Awareness
Patna: An awareness programme on Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana, which has been prepared by ministry of power in association with United Nations Development Programme, would be launched in 53 villages and 137 habitations of Nawada district on a pilot project basis.

Patna: Farmers sought the implementation of land reforms act in Bihar on the final day of the weeklong Akhil Bharatiya Kisan Mahasabha, which concluded on Monday.

Patna: The tourism department, on request of the Mauritius government, would organise a Bhojpuri Mahotsav in that country every year, starting from 2013. Folk artistes from the state would visit the island nation to take part in the event.
