Show-cause likely for Hernandez

Carlos Hernandez may be showcaused for his misconduct after being substituted during United SC’s I-League match against Salgaocar, on Friday. United SC coach Eelco Schattorie spoke to Hernandez regarding the issue, on Saturday, but refused to divulge details.

Felicitation

Nari Contractor and En-gland’s Ted Dexter will be felicitated by the CAB on December 4 — the eve of the third India versus England Test match at the Eden. Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Sourav Ganguly and Ravi Shastri may grace the occasion.

The race to the ‘Player of the Year’ title in the Toyota IGU Junior Tour will conclude in the city with the two final rounds being held at the Tollygunge Club and the Royal Calcutta Golf Club.
