Gogoi criticised
Guwahati, Nov. 20: AASU today criticised chief minister Tarun Gogoi and education minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for their failure to ensure US visa to Ratul Khan, this year’s Assam high madarsa examination topper to visit Nasa for a special five-day training. Khan was among six students selected by the government to visit Nasa.

Sivasagar: Ramen Gogoi, 23, a resident of Mybela was found hanging at his poultry farm near his house on Monday morning.

Bail granted
Aizawl: Critically ill leader of Hmar People’s Convention-Democratic
HPC-D), Lalropuia, 47, was granted bail on Monday on health grounds by chief Judical magistrate’s (CJM) court. He was arrested last June.
