Kidnap protest bandh

Muzaffarpur: The LJP has supported a bandh called by CPI(M-L) Liberation on November 22 to protest against the failure of police to rescue Nobha Chakravarty, who was allegedly abducted on September 19 from her residence.

Patna: Chief minister Nitish Kumar has postponed his janata durbar scheduled for Monday, at his official residence, owing to Chhath.

Buxar: Ornaments worth Rs 50,000, including a silver crown, were stolen from a Durga temple in Buxar town near the block office late on Saturday night.

Patna: Vidya Nand Ram, the convener of NGO BCSPA, on Sunday said his organisation would organise a national conference in New Delhi on November 23,in which more than 10,000 people from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes are expected to take part.
