Assam meet Kerala

Guwahati, Nov. 16: Assam will lock horns with hosts Kerala in their third Ranji Trophy Group C four-day fixture at Malappuram from tomorrow.

Having registered victories in the first two matches against Tripura here and Jharkhand in Jamshedpur, Assam lead the Group C tally with 13 points.

Sources said an unchanged playing XI was planned for the match against Kerala.

There was one change in the squad for the Malappuram-bound squad where top order batsman Pritam Debnath, who is nursing an injury, was replaced by Chandan Rawat.

In Raipur, Assam A will meet Chhattisgarh in a C.K. Nayudu Trophy under-25 plate group B tournament league match from tomorrow.
