ROFL

LOL: Get ready for an evening of ROFL as comedians Vir Das, Aditi Mittal and Ashish Sakya take the stage tomorrow at Kala Mandir at 7pm. Organised by the non-profit organisation Round Table, the event aims to raise funds for a school for underprivileged children in the Sunderbans. If a laughathon is not lure enough for you, there’s another reason to watch this “1/2 Punjabi, 1/4 Sindhi and 1/11 bad at fractions” girl comedian. “She is also 477th in line for the prestigious Mittal Steel fortune, so if you’re nice to her she might remember you when she’s rich,” jokes her Facebook profile.

Columnist and stand-up comic Ashish Sakya, “general idiot for hire”, is also the co-writer on The Week That Wasn’t with Cyrus Broacha on CNN-IBN. So you wouldn’t want to miss out on his act either. Delhi Belly and Badmaash Company man, known for his runaway stage hit History of India, Vir Das needs no introduction. The show’s almost sold out but you may just get lucky at www.bookmyshow.com and www.indianstage.in.
