The department of computer science at Loughborough University invites applications for its BSc (Hons) course in computer science and artificial intelligence.
The three-year full-time course is a computing degree that allows students to specialise in artificial intelligence (AI) through their project work and a number of specialist AI modules.
This course will enable students to learn about the latest developments in established and emerging areas and provides a broad coverage of artificial intelligence, including robotics, intelligent agents and image processing. This course is specifically designed for students to develop and apply artificial intelligence solutions and related technics to practical problems.
The course is also available as a 4-year work placement (sandwich) programme wherein students will have the opportunity to get industrial or professional work experience incorporated between periods of academic study at the University. For this, the students will be awarded a diploma in professional studies along with their degrees.
Eligibility: Students with an overall score of 80 per cent in Plus Two, including 75 per cent in maths are eligible for the programme. The fee for the course is £16,750.
