A Jharkhand High Court employee jumped in front of a running train near Satellite Colony in Doranda police station area on Monday, a day after his wife committed suicide following a row between the two.
The body of Santosh Singh (29) was recovered at 10am and sent for post-mortem.
According to the police, Santosh, who joined Jharkhand High Court as an assistant in 2007, married Rakhi (26), the daughter of a policeman, in June 2011.
On Sunday, a heated argument between the two led to Rakhi hanging herself. Though Santosh rushed her to Gurunanak Hospital, Rakhi was declared dead. Santosh went missing after that. His mutilated body was found on the tracks on Monday by a resident who informed the police, said assistant registrar (protocol) and court officer Mithilesh Singh.
