Five-hour training on the last day

Mumbai: India’s three-day preparatory camp for the four-Test series against England concluded at the Cricket Club of India here on Sunday.

The team had a five-hour training session with a short break for lunch at the Brabourne Stadium with all the players given an opportunity to have a feel of match conditions against their own bowlers and some other local bowlers.

The team’s training was supervised by chief coach Duncan Fletcher, bowling coach Joe Dawes and fielding coach Trevor Penney.

The squad members are set to depart on Monday for the series’ opening Test at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad.

England are already in Ahmedabad.

Earlier, the visitors have played two warm-up games, against India A and Mumbai A. (PTI)
